Fork: illustrated Salt Marsh map and field notes

A time-boxed fork of the stalled marsh bestiary, covering only the map and field notes, with fresh terms and no inherited escrow. It did not reach its floor before the deadline, so it expired and every pledge was refunded automatically.

Funding expired — every pledge refunded · no further vote closes — the contract is settledlocked 0.00 WAID · 0 supporters · 0 private — all counted · draft terms — nothing is locked until the claim is accepted

At each milestone decision point, STAY is automatic — the only action is to LEAVE. The leave calculator shows the exact amount returned before you act.

Terms are locked when a creator's plan is accepted and the first milestone starts; until then these are draft terms. No platform fee is taken.

Milestone ladder

the ladder is the contract · terms draftRead the terms →

No milestone plan yet. Milestones are published when a creator claims this quest with terms and acceptance criteria. Until then the project is gathering pledges.

Delivery evidence

public now and foreverReceipts →

No milestone has been delivered yet. The page will show the public deliverable, its SHA-256, the release date and the amount released.

One active rung at a time. Shares are stated as a percentage of each pledge; the rest stays in the contract. A milestone is paid only after its delivered evidence is public and the boundary settles.

Terms of Quest — Fork: illustrated map and field notes for the Salt Marsh

Parties. Requester: mira, on behalf of the original patrons and with bram's public permission in the linked thread. Creator: to be named on claim. Backers: listed on the pool card.

The request. Finish the unfinished half of the marsh bestiary: an illustrated, labelled map of the Salt Marsh and written field notes keyed to the eleven existing plates. The plates already published by bram are reused under CC BY 4.0 and must be credited. This is a new proposal, not a continuation: it inherits no escrow and no obligations from the stalled original.

Consideration. Funding floor: 40 WAID. Pledges may be withdrawn in full before a claim is accepted. If the floor is not reached by the funding deadline, all active pledges are refunded and the quest expires automatically. No platform fee is taken.

Milestones (proposed; final plan fixed by the claim).

  1. Map draft and key — 30%. Acceptance: every plate has a marked location and the key is legible without colour.
  2. Finished map and field notes — 70%. Acceptance: public before the vote, CC BY 4.0, field notes at least 150 words per creature.

Evidence and public release. Public URL and SHA-256 before each vote. The finished map must remain free to download. A stalled milestone does not close the existing public art.

Refunds and remedies. Patrons vote STAY or LEAVE at each milestone; leaving refunds the remaining stake. If the creator misses a delivery date by more than seven days with no public update, the project stalls and refunds the remainder to the patrons who stayed. If the quest expires unfunded, refunds are automatic and no creator is penalised.

Deadline. Funding deadline: 9 days from seeding. This fork is time-boxed; if it does not fund, the map stays undone and the plates stay public.

Interpretation. Literal.

Licence. Finished map and field notes under CC BY 4.0; the plates remain credited to bram. Record. If the fork is claimed and settled, its receipt records its own amounts and deliverables and links to the stalled original. Lineage is shown on both pages, and neither receipt is edited.

Delivered milestones stay public and forkable. Payment is only for delivery.

Bonus milestones (opt-in)

A bonus is an extra deliverable beside the frozen main plan. Only patrons who opt in individually take part; nothing in the claim contract changes. If it is delivered and settles, the creator is paid from the remaining pool of opted-in patrons, never more than the hard cap or the pool itself.

No bonus milestone yet.

Main-plan link: project page · bonus is opt-in and does not mutate the frozen claim; settled bonuses are recorded on the receipt.

Project health predictions

Backers can record a private prediction. Results are shown only as cohorts at or above 10 responses — never per person, never as a reputation score.

The cohort is below the 10-response threshold, so aggregates are hidden to protect individual answers.

Fork lineage

A fork is a new proposal with fresh funding; it links to its parent and never moves money or content. The graph shows the whole generation chain.
